Welcome to my professional space!

I am committed to advancing food safety and quality while navigating through the complexities of food manufacturing, compliance, and innovation with precision.

Let's take a glimpse into my professional journey:

I studied Food Science & Technology out of passion to add value to the global food & beverage sector by manufacturing safe and quality food products that meet consumer needs.

I'm a Certified Food Scientist in Eswatini, a professional member of the Eswatini Institute of Food Science & Technology.

I'm a Food Safety & Quality professional certified by CQI/IRCA as an ISO 17025 and FSSC 22000 V5.1/ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System Auditor.

Over the past 5 years, I've handled job roles in 3 departments across the food manufacturing industry: production, quality control & quality assurance while collaborating with cross-functional departments like R&D, engineering, supply chain & regulatory affairs.

I have vast experience in end-to-end implementation of robust quality assurance and quality control programmes in the cereal and snacks, soft drinks and brewery manufacturing operations aimed at preventing process food safety & quality failure and the risk of consumer & regulatory scrutiny.

I am versed with state-of-the-art range of analytical instrumentation like spectrophotometry, Chromatography, ATP swab luminotester for hygiene monitoring and Enzyme Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) for aflatoxin quantification.

Having worked with over 100 different food raw materials & additives (e.g., flours, starches, stabilizers, emulsifiers, binders, colourings, flavourings, sweeteners, etc.), I understand their application & technical function in the product and in relation to process performance.

I believe that food safety & quality are key factors that influence brand acceptability & customer/consumer loyalty & should not be compromised during food manufacturing operations to ensure market share retention & business growth.
